Roundtable Asset Management Investment Technology Exchange (RAMIX)
RAMIX is an annual conference for technology executives from asset managers orchestrated by Swiss Re’s Asset Management IT. It offers a chance for leaders to come together and debate about anything from hype to shifting paradigms, as well as understand and critically question the relevance of use cases in the real tech environment.
For the 8th year in a row we meet again on 21 and 22 November 2022. This time our focus topic is Tokenized Assets.
While the financial industry is still in the early phase of blockchain technology adoption, tokenization of real-world assets continues to gain momentum, with almost 10% of global gross domestic product (GDP) said to be tokenized by 2030. Thanks to transparency, efficiency, liquidity, and fractionalization, tokenization has the potential to revolutionize the entire financial services value chain.
Once the focus topic is concluded, the "topic carousel" (a business speed dating type of exchange) in the afternoon, gives room for a collective exploration of burning innovation topics in the financial industry. This is particularly crucial for the financial industry, that with only one company from the sector making it in the BCG's Top 50 Most Innovative Companies list, evidently lags behind the global pace of innovation.
