About the Role

As an HR Operations Associate, you'll be at the heart of our people operations, ensuring smooth delivery of essential HR services while maintaining compliance and accuracy across all processes. Your work will directly support employees throughout their journey with our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR operational activities including documentation, record-keeping, and responding to employee inquiries

  • Process and coordinate payroll operations with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring compliance with Dutch regulations

  • Administer employee benefits programs and provide information to staff regarding their entitlements and options

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of compliance policies across the organization

  • Conduct regular audits and participate in risk control measures related to HR processes

  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding procedures, ensuring smooth transitions for employees

  • Generate and analyze HR reports to identify trends and areas for improvement

  • Collaborate with the broader HR team on special projects and continuous improvement initiatives

About the Team

Our HR Team in the Netherlands is a collaborative and supportive group focused on delivering excellent HR services across the organization. The team is responsible for core HR operations, payroll and benefits coordination, as well as maintaining compliance policies and implementing effective risk control measures to support our employees and business objectives.

About You

You are a methodical and people-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You understand the importance of both accuracy and empathy in HR operations and take pride in providing excellent service. You're comfortable working with confidential information and have a keen eye for detail while maintaining a broader perspective on how HR operations impact the employee experience.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures, with the ability to interpret and apply them appropriately

  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex information clearly

  • Experience with local payroll processing and knowledge of Dutch employment regulations

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications

These are additional nice to haves:

  • Knowledge of Dutch labor laws and regulations

  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies

  • Previous experience in a multinational company environment

  • Certification in HR operations or related field

  • Ability to communicate in Dutch

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting

  • Knowledge of benefits administration in the Netherlands

For the Netherlands, the base salary range for this position is between (min salary, currency) and (max salary, currency) for a full-time role.

The specific salary offered considers:

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role

• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience

In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
