COP28: Race to resilience

We welcome the hosting of COP28 by the UAE and look forward to acceleration of actions on climate mitigation, adaptation and a just transition.

Partnering for Progress

Limiting the average global temperature increase to 1.5C is at risk of slipping out of reach unless there is a rapid increase in public-private collaboration and action to accelerate emission reductions across global value chains.

Sustained human action to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions has the potential to alter society’s course on climate. However, success is dependent on government support.

In addition, it is clear that adapting to the already changing climate must go hand in hand with mitigation efforts. We want to make progress on both mitigation and adaptation during our time at COP28.
