Privacy Notice regarding video surveillance (Switzerland)
This privacy notice explains how Swiss Re processes personal data, insofar as it may be possible for us in certain cases to associate a recording with individual persons in the context of video surveillance of outside areas of our properties and entrances to our buildings. This information is based on the Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP).

2. Purpose of the processing
Video surveillance is carried out in our legitimate interests and to safeguard our house rights and for the purpose of protecting buildings, persons, and property, for the prevention of criminal offences and for the preservation of evidence in the event of criminal offences, as well as for the detection and defense of technical problems.
3. Location of video surveillance
Camera systems are installed in particular in the areas of visitor and employee entrances to our buildings, at the entrances to underground garages, parking lots and delivery zones, and at emergency exits. No audio recordings are made.
4. Access restrictions
The video surveillance recordings are accessible to a small number of Corporate Real Estate & Services security officers.
5. Retention time
The video surveillance recordings are temporarily stored for (30) thirty days and deleted after this period.
6. Service provider
We may engage third party service providers to operate our video surveillance systems. Recordings are stored in Switzerland. Service providers are carefully selected and monitored, and the appropriate data protection agreements are concluded.
7. Rights of data subject
You have the right of access, the right to object and the right of deletion. We may refuse, limit, or suspend these rights based on overriding interests or other legal grounds. You can exercise your rights via to contact details in section 1.

8. Changes to this privacy notice
We may amend this privacy policy at any time.
