Chris oversees Impact Forecasting’s client relationships and defines strategy, working with clients and prospects from insurers and reinsurers globally. Chris was previously a catastrophe model developer and led development of a number of earthquake models and a global tsunami research initiative. Prior to working for Aon, Chris worked for a consulting engineering firm on a range of projects concerning water, property and the built environment.
Away from work Chris is a trustee and volunteer for MapAction, the disaster mapping charity and has been involved in several overseas missions. Chris is currently serving on the committee of the Royal Geographical Society’s Disaster Risk Management Professional Practice Group. Chris is a Chartered Geographer (GIS) and has a BSc Geography from the University of Leeds and an MSc in Geographic Information Science from the University of Nottingham.
Chris lives in London and enjoys being with his family, running, playing football and learning Mandarin Chinese. He has also recently been taking on small DIY projects with mixed success!
