Christian Elias Schneider Lead of the Innovation Office University of Basel

Not afraid to reach across silos and hierarchies, Christian Elias Schneider is keen to operate at the interface of science, innovation, corporation and government. He has implemented that credo in previous positions – for example as Board Member at BioValley Basel or Head of Science & Technology Office at the Embassy of Switzerland in Korea and Australia. Since 2017, Christian is leading the Innovation Office at the University of Basel, which is the central contact point at the University for all matters related to innovation and entrepreneurship. As such, the office is operating a variety of thematic platforms and projects, offers entrepreneurial educations, enables public-private collaborations and supports start-ups and spin-off’s on their journey to achieve impact.
