Dr. Biswa Sengupta holds the position of Managing Director for the AI Products and Cloud Platform in the Corporate & Investment Bank at J.P. Morgan, where he oversees the development of AI products and the management of the associated cloud infrastructure. His education includes a PhD in dynamical systems/optimization/energy efficiency from the University of Cambridge, as well as further training in Bayesian machine learning and differential geometry from University College London. Biswa is a distinguished senior technical executive with extensive experience leading various ventures across the artificial intelligence landscape, from start-ups to global corporations such as AXA XL, Huawei, Zebra, and J.P. Morgan. He has demonstrated a hands-on approach to team leadership, and his expertise in incubating commercially viable products utilizing advanced technologies such as computer vision, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, and robotics is highly regarded.
