Jonathan Allard Gallagher Re

Jonathan Allard is Head of the Global Credit, Surety and Political Risk Practice and is responsible within Gallagher Re for the development of the class world-wide excluding Surety in North America. 

Prior to joining Gallagher Re in October 2023, he spent four years as VP Underwriting at RenaissanceRe where he was responsible for underwriting Credit, Surety and Political Risk on the Lloyd’s Syndicate and Company balance sheets, for some of the largest Treaty programmes in the market, as well as direct Bank Portfolios.

Jonathan began his career at Willis Re broking Credit, Surety and Political Risk accounts, in addition to Property and Casualty business. 

Jonathan is ACII accredited and has an MSc in Business Management from Bayes Business School.
