Roland Umbricht Head of Global P&C Underwriting Allianz SE

Roland Umbricht is currently the Head of Global Property & Casualty at Allianz SE in Munich, a position he has held since 2019. Having been with the Allianz Group since March 2000, he spent 10 years as a member of the Management Board of Allianz Suisse, where he undertook the roles of Head of Non-Life, Head of Life/Mortgages and Head of Market Management. In addition, he was President of the supervisory boards for CAP Legal Protection Insurance and Quality1 Warranty Insurance, and has served on the P&C Board of the Swiss Insurance Association and the Executive Board of the Swiss NatCat Pool. Roland is a founding member of Net-Zero Insurance Alliance Steering Committee, which falls under the United Nations Principles for Sustainable Finance.
