A 20 year insurance veteran with experience across both life and non-life businesses, within underwriting, distribution, and risk consulting functions, Sheri brings vast industry expertise to the creation of the Net Zero Insurance Alliance (NZIA).  Supporting AXA’s chair of the alliance, Sheri is a contributing author to the important NZIA white paper on “Insuring the Net-Zero Transition”, is a member of the PCAF convened working group for the development of insurance underwriting carbon accounting metrics, and participates in all the workstreams of the NZIA. She regularly speaks about the NZIA objectives, reaching out to industry peers and associations who are not yet involved in the alliance. Sheri also participates in the GFANZ workstream 1.3 on real economy transition plans, providing the insurer voice and linkage to the NZIA. 
 
She is additionally responsible for bringing the net zero principles for adoption within AXA throughout the P&C organizations. With additional resources from across the AXA group, a holistic approach to applying climate and sustainability objectives ensures the principles are incorporated into business strategies, and thus achievable as well as ambitious. AXA’s Group Risk Management Climate and Sustainability practice brings together experts in climate impact, climate mitigation, and climate resilience for a coordinated and practical approach for underwriting guidance, product development, and risk management.
 
Sheri’s career includes 15 years in Asia, notably Tokyo, Beijing, and Hong Kong. She holds a BS in Chemical Engineering, MBA in International Business, and a MIM in Finance. She began her career with Procter & Gamble’s Research and Development function.
