Tom Philp CEO Maximum Information

Tom is CEO of Maximum Information, a venture with an aim to empower climate and catastrophe risk decision makers. He previously worked in AXA XL’s Science & Natural Perils function; during his time there, he was seconded to act as Head of Climate Risk for Blue Marble Microinsurance. He has a PhD in Meteorology from the University of Reading, and was the Insurance Sector Champion for the Sector Engagement Project of the EU’s Copernicus Climate Change Service between 2015-2017. He is currently a Research Associate of the Department of Philosophy at the London School of Economics, and has previously been a Visiting Researcher at NOAA’s Hurricane Research Division/U. Miami.
