• Tactical Asset Allocation is the adjustment of portfolio asset allocation on short-term market conditions. Due to its dynamic nature, TAA relies on the ability to monitor and react to changing market conditions in real time and requires data-driven decisions. At Munich Re, the business division Group Investment Management and central IT developed a platform for market analytics and prediction based on Azure Datalake and Databricks. The platform provides ad-hoc analysis and reporting in one place. It allows business users to easily create and train ML models and use them to predict market conditions.
