What is Swiss Re AcceleRate?

AcceleRate is a risk assessment tool that empowers underwriters to quickly and seamlessly reclassify assessments and improve underwriting decisions.

AcceleRate is available to Swiss Re clients based on Life Guide, Swiss Re's 150+ years of actuarial, medical and underwriting expertise, including the empirical data of our patented Life Mortality System (LMS), and is tailored to your company's preferred criteria.

Delivering real-time decisions allows underwriters to offer the best possible risk evaluation and customer experience.

At Swiss Re, we’re committed to making sure your business is always future ready. As of February 2023, AcceleRate has expanded to provide more decisions faster than ever.

What do the new enhancements mean for underwriters?

  • Improve your standard or better decisions and Table 2 decisions to standard for 79 impairments. ​

  • AcceleRate is integrated into Life Guide meaning we’re still committed to making the process to get a Swiss Re decision simple and easy. ​

  • Table 3 to Table 8 assessments can be reviewed through AcceleRate.​

  • Decline decisions can be assessed within AcceleRate.​

  • And as always with AcceleRate, there are no papers to send to Swiss Re.​
